A Judaic Baroque building located by the entrance to the Old Jewish Cemetery, houses a permanent exhibition showing Jewish customs and traditions.

This synagogue was built at the end of the 16th century for Mordecai Maisel, mayor of the jewish town. Although it was private property it was the biggest synague in Prague at that time. Its current looks are due to a rebuilt in neo-Gothic style after it burnt down in 1869

The Old Jewish Cemetery was established in the first half of the 15th century. Today it contains some 12,000 tombstones. Oldest and most famous is that of Rabbi Loew, which is the grave with the most pebbles piled on top of it - a Jewish tradition.

The oldest preserved synagogue in the Central Europe. It was built in the early gothic style in the late 13th century and richly adorned by stonework Up till now it has served as a house of prayer.

The walls inside Pinkas Synagogue are chillingly covered with the names of 80,000 Jewish Holocaust victims of Bohemia and Moravia. There is also a permanent exhibition of children's drawings from Terezin concentration camp, drawn between 1942 and 1944.

Rudolfinum (named after Prince Rudolf of Habsburg) is the seat of the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra.The Neo-Renaissance building was completed in 1885 and was once the seat of Parliament of the Czech Republic.

A domed Moorish-style synagogue was built in 1868 on the site of the Altschul, the city's oldest synagogue. It is a beautiful building outside and in, with a domed ceiling, Islamic motifs and stained glass. Restored in 1998, the synagogue houses an exhibition on the history of Czech Jews.

The Jewish cemetery in Zizkov was established in 1680 and it is an historic site of great significance. It is the resting place for some 40,000 persons, including a number of prominent rabbis and scholars.
