Czernin Palace is the third largest palace in Prague(135m-long facade) and is located on the Loreta Square between Prague Castle and the Strahov Monastery. In 1923, the Czechoslovak government decided that the Czernin Palace would be alloted to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, whose offices were dispersed in several places in Prague.

The Golden Lane is part of Prague castle and is full of tiny colourful houses that were once inhabited by the castle servants and marksmen. Later on gold merchants moved in, giving the street it's name. Now many of the houses are gift shops.

Queen Anne's Summer Palace, also known as Belvedere lies at the end of the Royal Gardens to the north of the Prague castle. It is a Renaissance-era building dating from 1538-1563 Built for Anne by her husband Ferdinand I.

The Royal Garden was built in 1534 by Ferdinand I. You will find the gardens immediately to the left of the castle entrance from Marianske hradby. It is a very beautiful garden with a large range of flowers and plants, etc.

The St. George's Basilica was founded in 920 as the Romanesque chapel, existing one was built in 1142. There are unique chapels of St. John of Nepomuk and St. Ludmila (first Czech Christian martyr).

St. Vitus's Cathedral is the largest and the most important church in Prague. Apart from divine
services the coronations of Czech kings and queens also took place in it.

The Royal Canonry of Premonstratensians at Strahov is one of the oldest monasteries of the Premonstratensian Order in the world. It has been a working monastery practically ever since it was founded in 1143.
