Tickets for Prague metro, buses and trams are available at ticket offices and ticket machines at metro stations information offices, local shops.
There are two types of tickets:
Non-transfer tickets: 
apply to trams and buses 15 minutes allowing no change. On the Metro such tickets are valid for the distance of 4 stations from the station of validation (not including the station of validation) allowing to change between the lines A,B,C, but no longer than 30 minutes. These tickets do not apply to night routes and funicular railway.
Transfer tickets:
Tickets for two fare zones can be used 60 minutes from validation. On working days from 08.00 PM to 05.00 AM and on Saturdays and Sundays round the clock such tickets can be used 90 minutes from validation.
Short-term tickets:
24-hour ticket

7-day ticket (168 hours)

Metro is operating from 05:00 till 24:00 every day, the
period is from 2 minutes in the rush hours up to 10 minutes.

operate 4.30 a.m. to 12.00 p.m.
interval for day operation: 8 minutes in the morning and afternoon peaks on working days, 10 minutes in the morning hours and 15 minutes on Saturdays and Sundays.
Night operation: from 0.30 a.m. to 04.30 a.m.
Time interval for night operation: 30 minutes.
Night routes : numbers 51 – 58.
- The central transfer point of the night routes is the tram stop Lazarská.
Number of routes: 24 day routes and 8 night routes. |

Buses mostly cover the outskirts of Prague. Daytime buses run from 4:30 a.m. till midnight in 6-8 min. intervals in peak hours, 10-20 min. intervals in the off hours, and 15-30 min. intervals on weekends. Night buses (numbers 501-512) run from 00:30 a.m. till 4:30 a.m. in a 40 min. intervals.
